Data encryption

To ensure your data is kept private, our backup
software encrypts your files using the most secure
methods possible - 256 bit Advanced Encryption
Standard - adopted by the U.S. Government for
Top Secret level security.

Our backup software on your computer does the encrypting and decrypting.
This way your data is secure while it travels across your network, across the
internet,and while it is stored at our datacenter facilities. When you need to
restore data,the process is reversed.

Our software uses the incredibly secure 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard,
but you can also choose to use 128-Bit or 256-Bit TwoFish or TripleDES Encryption.

Availability & redundancy

Our job is to make sure your data is safe,
no matter what else is going on. We operate from
datacenter facilities with multiple, redundant internet
connections, which are designed to always be online.

We also keep additional copies of your data at geographically separate sites, so your
backup files are actually backed up themselves, just in case. In the event of a power failure
everything is designed to run uninterupted. We use diverse power feeds from the national grid
to an onsite substation, and have backup UPS and diesel generators in place which
automatically take over should the grid fail.

Controlled environment

As well as keeping your data safe, we
ensure our backup servers are physically safe.
We use datacenter facilities which are guarded 24/7,
as well as being equipped with comprehensive
security systems including CCTV, layered perimeters
and strict access control protocols.

Our servers are kept in a temperature and humidity controlled environment,
and are protected by VESDA & FM200 fire protection systems.

Management systems

We have staff on site around the clock,
24/7 and 365 days a year. Our highly skilled
technicians monitor the networks to ensure that
any potential problems are dealt with quickly
and efficiently.

Our servers are monitored locally and remotely via management software
which alerts us to any issues so we can instantly get on with sorting out
any problems.
