London Laser Company had a real issue with failure rates on restoring files from backup tapes. The nature of their business means they store hundreds of thousands of small files onsite located on their many servers.
How did Online IT Backup help?
We scrapped all the backup tape devices and replaced them with our secure online backup. They could not believe how easy the transition was and how low maintenance the new backup process is. The initial backup was made via three 1TB external hard drives which were copied straight to our server. Now the daily backups are incremental and take approximately 15 minutes everyday.
